What a beautiful day

Adam took eight of us on a Staffordshire mystery tour on Sunday covering about 40 miles, Thanks Adam.

Through Eccleshall, Stone, and Milwich stopping at The Green Man for a well earned lunch.

Some of the riders took on a couple of extra loops to increase their mileage.

Not long to the big day now.

More training

Hi Guys.

There were six of us out yesterday, five ladies and Paul, we all did slightly different distances, I did the shortest distance of 42 miles, as my legs were very sore from other stuff that i'd been doing previously, both Paul and Eunice did the grand total of 52 miles, you can't keep Eunice back since she had her new bike!! :)

I have rung the Penhelig Hotel today, they still have 2 double rooms available if you still need to book a room, also, Pete is staying at the Tyddyn Rhys Farm www.tyddynrhys.co.uk 01654 767769 I don't know if they have any rooms left, but it is cheaper than the Penhelig. Thgey also have a static caravan but don't know if they will hire it out for just one night but may be worth asking.

I hope you are all fit and well and hope to see as many of you as possible on Sunday, I'm sure that Paul would appreciate some male company if you guys can!!

Cheers Jackie x

A big challenge for Graham

Graham, who many of you will know, has done the big ride with The Balti Bike Club for several years. This year he has set himself a great challenge of riding to Norway between April to July.

Graham is due back in this country the day before our trip and is intending the Aberdovey ride to be the final stage of his trip.

A few words from Graham:

" My big ride for charity starts on 24 April from Harwich. The challenge is to do it in 70 days. If I am successful and my legs do not fall off on route, I am due to return to this country on 3 July. I like the idea to take part in the ride to Aberdovey but it may be a step too far. I shall try and peddle more miles per day because Aberdovey would be a fantastic finale.

For anyone who is interested, I have a website, blog and am on twitter. The blog will follow the journey and the website is www.mycharitypage.com/GrahamWilson
If I do not make this year, I would love to join you next year.

With best wishes,

Graham Wilson
